Whether you're visiting for a day, a week or a lifetime, the people of the Bundaberg will welcome you into the communities and experience the warm hospitality.

The Bundaberg Region offers visitors a diverse range of experiences from tranquil natural environments such as the entry way to the Southern Great Barrier Reef to the many iconic Bundaberg tourist destinations like the Bundaberg Distillery and the famous Hinkler Hall of Aviation.

Visitors can participate in activities such as fishing, surfing, bush walking, 4WD, heritage walks, wine tasting, relaxing on the secluded beaches, art and cultural exhibitions and visiting world-renowned national parks.

The Bundaberg region is open for business and you will find a host of amazing food experiences, many using locally found and sourced produce.

The region is home to nearly 90 per cent of Australia's sweet potato production, amongst production of many other seasonally available fruit and vegetables such as strawberries, avocado, corn, lettuce, ginger, potato, watermelon, pumpkin, zucchini, tomato, chilli, figs, blueberries, macadamias and much more which has earned the region the title "Bountiful Bundaberg - Nourishing the Nation".

There are plenty of retailers in the region to whet your retail appetite and if you are a bargain hunter a huge range of op shops for you to trawl through.

Don't leave their fine city without a visit to the Bundaberg Barrel, home of Bundaberg Brewed Drinks which are exported globally and Bundaberg Distilling Company- home of Bundaberg rum or without visiting Nanna's Pantry for their famous gelato and Indulge Café for their range of locally-sourced and seasonal produce-driven menu.
