Bundaberg Tours
Stretching over 2,000 kilometres along the Queensland coastline from Bundaberg to Cape York is the world’s largest living marine formation, the Great Barrier Reef. It is an awe inspiring creation and a magnificent habitat for thousands of marine species – and it’s right on our doorstep! Take a tour to Lady Elliot Island or Lady Musgrave Island to discover two jewels of the Southern Great Barrier Reef. You can fly direct to Lady Elliot Island from the Bundaberg Airport or take a cruise to Lady Musgrave Island from the Town of Seventeen Seventy (bus transfers are available from Bundaberg). You can snorkel or take a guided reef walk and a ride in a glass-bottomed boat to discover many underwater treasures. As an integral part of the marine ecosystem the reef is protected by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) and the Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM). Please ensure you play your part in conserving this world-class attraction.
