Mon Repos Turtle Centre

The Mon Repos Turtle Centre is dedicated to marine turtle research, protection and education. Here you can learn about the special journey turtles and people have taken at Mon Repos.

The Centre offers a year-round state-of-the-art experience, with interactive displays, immersive theatre room, outdoor trails, gift shop and access to the beach.

There are two sections within the Mon Repos Turtle Centre available to visitors:

  1. 'Hatchling Hall' (free to enter and does not require a booking): Discover more about Mon Repos Conservation Park, visit the gift shop and capture a glimpse of a turtle's world.
  2. 'Turtle Tales' (paid experience and requires a booking): Explore the biology of marine turtles in a self guided immersive experience inside the Centre. Through interpretive displays, observe migration routes via satellite tracking data, learn about turtle research and discover what threats turtles face.
