Duncan Littler

Chair

Duncan Littler has been a part of the Bundaberg Rum Brand Team since 2010. Whilst working on the Bundaberg Rum brand, one of his key focuses is ensuring the Bundaberg Rum Bondstore relentlessly innovates and continues to attract more visitors to our region. He also ensures that when visitors choose to visit the distillery, their experience is outstanding. Prior to working for the Bundaberg Rum brand, Duncan worked in advertising agencies, developing a number of tourism campaigns in the Queensland region. Duncan is BNBT’s Chair..

Ross Peddlesden

Deputy Chair

Ross has a background of 30 years in radio broadcasting, finishing with 14 years as Regional Manager of local radio station ABC Wide Bay. Since his retirement in 2014, he has been owner operator of Field of Dreams Media. Ross is a passionate advocate for regional communities and a community volunteer, holding a position on the national board of the YMCA as well as being President of the local Y association. He’s a member on the Board of the Bundaberg Health Services Foundation and has been a Rotarian for 15 years, holding a range of club and district positions. Ross also has a strong interest in food and wine; being a member and past President of the Burnett Wine Club.

Michelle Comley

Treasurer & Secretary

Michelle was elected as a Director into one of the two industry specialist positions in 2016. She brings with her a wealth of experience on tourism organisation boards and in small business. Michelle is the Manager of Budget Car and Truck Rental | Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Hervey Bay.

Michael Owens

Director

A member of the Facility Management Association of Australia and the Australian Marketing Institute, Michael Owens is a marketing professional within the Strata Complex and Tourism Sector (since 1997). Having established ‘The MOCO Group’ in 2006, Michael’s combination of marketing, business management and change management skills lends perfectly to his role as a director.

 

Teena Mammino

Director

Teena was CEO of multi award winning Mammino Gourmet Ice-Cream from 1996-2017.  Diversifying from sugar cane & macadamia farming in 1996 to ice-cream manufacturing.  During her time at the helm, Mammino's won numerous awards, including Gold Award in the QLD Dairy Awards and induction in the SGBR Hall of Fame.

Teena is also a member of the Childers Chamber of Commerce and a mentor for the Wide Bay Burnett RIRDC Young Women's Leadership and mentoring programs.  Teena also has been a board member on Queensland Rural Women's Networking Board.  We Welcome Teena to our Board of Directors for 2017/2018.

Ross Morgan

Director

Ross is Chief Operating Officer for Bundaberg Brewed Drinks.  Ross is responsible for BBD’s Australian and New Zealand business including The Bundaberg Barrel and BBD’s Tourist Centre.  Ross has experience as a board member of Volunteering Queensland, Variety Queensland the Children’s Charity and Volunteering Australia.  He is also a member of the local Bundaberg FRIENDS of BUSHkids Committee.  We welcome Ross to our Board of Directors for 2017/2018

           
                                   

Rhys Kummerow

Director

Rhys is co-owner of the award-winning Childers Eco-lodge offering country style accommodation and reputable harvest work to backpackers with the aim of improving their experience of the region. Having launched Childers Wine Tours to positive reviews, Rhys is expanding operations into ‘Off the Wagon Tours’ bringing a range of new tour products to the area. Passionate about the Bundaberg North Burnett Region, Rhys has worked in tourism and hospitality for over 12 years including running adventure tours in the Middle East and South America and brings a wealth of practical small business experience to the Board.

Cameron Bisley

Bundaberg Regional Council Representative

Cameron is currently the Branch Manager, Commercial Business and Economic Development with the Bundaberg Regional Council. The focus of his position is to strengthen the region’s economic base, by creating strong partnerships between Council and the community; business and other levels of Government. Tourism Operations and Services is also part of Cameron’s portfolio with Council (along with airports and economic development) so it is great to have Cameron’s input as an Observer Director on the Board.

Cr Rachel Chambers

North Burnett Regional Council Representative

Rachel is currently the Mayor of North Burnett Regional Council and is their representative on our Board.
