Bundaberg Tourism in partnership with the Bundaberg Regional Council and the Gin Gin Tourism Advisory Group are seeking expression of interests from local community organisations and commercial business within the Gin Gin community to operate a visitor information hub.

To deliver visitor services through a formal information hub, we have a the following criteria to meet, to enable formalised listings as a recognised Visitor Information hub:

  • The Visitor Information Hub needs to be open a minimum of 5 days a week, inclusive of weekends.
  • The Visitor Information Hub needs to be open a minimum of 5 hours per day between 9.00am to 5.00pm
  • The hub needs to have a minimum space of 3m x 2m to adequately store visitor information including brochures and IT equipment (Television)
  • The hub needs to have wheelchair access.
  • The hub needs to have adequate car parking within 15 metres of the area.
  • The business or community group agrees to maintaining levels of customer service to support the visitor experience (training program will be delivered by Bundaberg Tourism)
  • The business or community group agrees to maintaining display of destination and regional marketing collateral (standards outlined within the Queensland Information Centre Association guidelines)
