The Moncrieff Entertainment Centre is helping to raise funds for NAIDOC Week 2019 during National Reconciliation Week with an Australian Bush Flavours experience on Tuesday 28 May commencing at 5.30pm. Sample the aromas and flavours of bush flavours incorporated with modern cuisine in shared tasting plates. Tickets include a tasting plate and a drink (juice, softdrink, house beer or wine). LIMITED TICKETS $15 pp.

Then stay on for the free movie, the multi award winning Backtrack Boys (MA15+). This observational documentary, filmed over two years, follows a group of boys who are on a perilous course to juvie until they meet up with the rough talking, free-wheeling jackaroo, Bernie Shakeshaft, and hit the road with his legendary dog jumping team. Film starts 6.30pm.

What a great way to start National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 Jun) 'Grounded in Truth. Walk Together with Courage' and to raise funds to support NAIDOC Week in July this year.

“It’s really special. Go and see it. Write stories about it. Tell your friends”. ~ Russell Crowe

“I hope this film will foster a greater understanding of the issues these kids face and inspire communities to develop real alternatives that will help keep them out of J*il.” ~ Catherine Scott, Director
