Not Your Average Reef Trip

Bundaberg is your launch pad to the Southern Great Barrier Reef. One minute you’re on land, next minute you’re floating over coral gardens with a turtle casually cruising past like you’re late to their appointment. And two islands stealing the show are Lady Elliot Island and Lady Musgrave Island.

Day trip or stay a few nights, either way, once you arrive, you’re suddenly in a David Attenborough episode.

Snorkelling the reef ft. plenty of pinch me moments

Snorkel on, awkward flipper shuffle, and then, you’re in. No long boat queues, no waiting your turn… just straight into it. Out here, the reef isn’t something you look at from a distance, you’re in it within minutes.

With Lady Musgrave Experience, you’ll drift through a calm, protected lagoon that’s perfect for first-timers and easy exploring. Over at Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort, you can step straight off the shore and snorkel straight onto the reef. No fuss, no filters.

Turtles drift past like they own the place, coral pops in every direction, and before you know it, you’ve completely lost track of time. In summary: Easy to get into, very hard to get out of.
