This original art deco bungalow will transport guests back in time. A time of decadence and class. A surprise package in the rural town of Monto. Let the ornate ceilings and eclectic furniture capture your heart. A beautiful place to rest. Merv and Eva were Monto icons, they made this their forever home. Merv, a builder and Eva, a golfer lived happily for decades embedded in this friendly community. We honour Merv and Eva, and are grateful each and every day to share their home with many.

Description

The house has 3 bedrooms each with queen size beds, 1 bathroom and a sunroom with day bed and comfy lounges to enjoy a warm sunny morning in winter.

The house is lacking blinds and curtains, however the arctic glass provides privacy and there is some linen blocking some light in the main bedrooms.

The house is fully air conditioned and the modern kitchen fitted with basic equipment. The formal lounge area opens onto the front porch and street views can be enjoyed in the comfort of original art deco chairs.

The exterior of the house is in its original state and the back deck requires some finishing touches. The house provides an experience of the most decadent interior and authentic exterior.

A washing machine and clothesline are located on the back deck. Sit in Merv and Eva's original squatters chairs with your coffee and listen to sounds of quaint Monto.

There is only street parking.
