Moore Park Beach

Standing on Moore Park Beach, it’s easy to believe the golden sand beach goes on forever. Well, you’re almost right – the pristine, uncrowded beach stretches for 20 kilometres.

As well as the beautiful beach, Moore Park Beach has a nature reserve along Sylvan Drive, some of the richest farming in the region and a village atmosphere that the locals are proud of.

The Moore Park Beach Holiday Park is one of the few absolute beachfront holiday parks in the region and is surrounded by peaceful parklands.

Other accommodation options include a motel close to the popular bowls and sports club; beach huts; Airbnb’s and much more.

Facilities at Moore Park Beach include a modern primary school, tavern, shopping centre, bowls and sports club, service station and other shops and facilities.

Moore Park Beach is renowned for its fishing, swimming and surfing, as well as walking paths and a great variety of playgrounds and parks. The southern end is a popular bathing area with seasonal and weekend patrols by the Moore Park Surf Lifesaving Club.

The short drive north from Bundaberg CBD to Moore Park Beach takes you through lush farmlands featuring macadamia plantations, avocado and flower farms, small crops and sugar cane – making it one of the richest farming areas in the region and the perfect place to buy fresh produce direct from the farmgate. You can’t get any fresher than that!
