Macadamias Australia’s Visitor Experience and The Orchard Table Café are the Bundaberg Region's newest offerings. Providing an up-close and down-to-earth experience on the Steinhardt’s three-generation family farm. The guest experience begins as they walk the path through the macadamia orchard and continues inside where they can learn firsthand about our history and beginnings. The rich fertile soil surrounded by the abundant red earth known in the Bundaberg Region has nurtured a variety of ventures for the Steinhardt Family including small crops, peanuts, sugarcane and a successful plantation of tomatoes before the family turned their hand to Macadamias. In 2004 they began a journey to vertically integrate their properties which include over two hundred thousand trees, processing and value-add our Macadamias. The Visitor Experience includes a self-guided journey through the recycled macadamia wood totems and interactive screens. The facility welcomes tour groups and provides an informative tasting and introduction to Australia’s native nut. The Orchard Table café provides fresh seasonal and local produce, freshly prepared in our kitchen with a macadamia twist, great coffee and gourmet gelato in a picturesque orchard setting. Macadamias Australia also has a farmgate shop with their single-origin nuts, and locally sourced produce and giftware items for guests to purchase.

When you host two or more out-of-region guests (from postcodes outside 4660, 4670, 4671 or 4673), you’ll unlock exclusive perks at Macadamias Australia.

Here’s how it works:

Book a Picnic & Orchard Tour for your group and visit us on a weekday (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). After your tour, each member of your group, including you, will receive a complimentary 400g bag of premium macadamias, gifted with gratitude at the retail store when you show your postcode.

Simply head to our website under VISIT to book your tour. To enjoy this offer, your group must be booked together in a single reservation.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Offer applies to one local host bringing two or more out-of-region guests

Groups must book together in a single booking to be eligible

Picnic & Orchard Tours must be booked in advance and are subject to availability

Walk-ins are accepted but must arrive before the daily tour cut-off time and agree that tours are subject to availability

Tours must take place Monday to Friday only, excluding public holidays

Dietary requirements must be provided at the time of booking

Proof of postcode is required for both local hosts and their guests to qualify

Out-of-region guests must reside outside postcodes 4660, 4670, 4671 and 4673

Each eligible guest will receive one free 400g bag of macadamias, redeemable on the same day as the tour
