Description
Rocky Point Retreat is a family owned camp ground operated by Kati and Darren Rasmussen. The waterfront camping area is a part of the 250 acre rural property "Rocky Point" which is located on the southern bank of Baffle Creek at Winfield 63 kilometres north of Bundaberg.
Their premium waterfront camp sites are perfectly suited to self-contained caravans, RVs, camping trailers and tents or swag's. They have private ensuite amenities and portaloos for hire for those guests that do not have their own or prefer a bit of luxury camping.
The 16 acre camping area is level, grassed and has 370 metres of Baffle Creek frontage which comfortably accommodates 22 waterfront sites and there are four powered sites located 50 meters back from the waterfront. They have a 40 metre non-camping buffer zone along the river which allows all campers to enjoy the waterfront.
Each waterfront camp site has a 17 metre frontage, over 400 square metres in area and have access to clean bore water taps. Caravan/motor home clubs and large groups can easily be accommodated and sited together in any format.
For all amenity hire your payment is refundable if cancelled 7 days prior to your arrival date all cancellations must be given in writing/email. Non arrivals or guests who fail to notify of cancellations will forfeit the first nights deposit Change of dates within cancellation periods may be given due to extreme weather events please contact us for details. HIGH PEAK – Christmas/New Year & Easter:
Christmas deposits are refundable if booking is cancelled in writing by 30th November (cut-off date). Easter deposits are refundable if booking is cancelled in writing by 28th February (cut-off date). Payments are non-refundable after cut-off dates.
PEAK TIMES - Qld school holidays & long weekends:
Your payment is refundable if cancelled in writing/email 14 days prior to arrival (cut-off date) Refunds/credits are not applicable if cancelled less than 14 days prior.
OFF PEAK– QLD School Holidays & Long Weekends:
Your payment is refundable if cancelled in writing/email 7 days prior to arrival (cut-off date). Refund/credits are not applicable if cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival date.
All cancellations must be given in writing/email before cut-off dates to be eligible for refund and/or credit. Non-arrivals or guests who fail to notify of cancellations will forfeit any payments made and will forfeit their site if no notifications is received by end of business hours on your arrival date.
