Getting to Mon Repos

Mon Repos is 15 minutes east of Bundaberg and a 4 ½ hour drive north of Brisbane. Bundaberg is accessible by car, plane or train. 

By Car

From Bundaberg

Follow the signs to Bargara along the Bundaberg–Bargara Road.
At Bargara Primary School, turn left into Potters Road.
At the end of Potters Road turn right into Grange Road and follow the signs to Mon Repos.
At the Mon Repos park entrance at 141 Mon Repos Road, turn left into Rookery Road.

From Bargara

From the Bargara town centre, Mon Repos is an easy 8 minute drive.
Head towards Bundaberg on Bauer St (which turns into Bargara Rd).
Turn right at the Bargara Primary School, 2km from Bargara town centre
Turn right into Potters Road.
At the end of Potters Road turn right into Grange Road and follow the signs to Mon Repos.
At the Mon Repos park entrance at 141 Mon Repos Road, turn left into Rookery Road.

From Burnett Heads

From the Burnett Heads Holiday Park, Mon Repos is an easy drive. Head towards Bundaberg on Burnett Heads Rd. In 650m turn left towards Mon Repos Turtle Centre (follow the signs).

 

Please note: There is no public transport to Mon Repos. From the park entrance at 141 Mon Repos Road, follow Rookery Road to the Mon Repos Turtle Centre car park. If the Turtle Centre car park is full, alternative parking is available at Mon Repos Road car park and Moores Road car park.
