1. Sip, Savour & Sparkle @ Gayndah Art Gallery

Come be involved in the festivities of the Heartland Festival opening night Sip, Savour & Sparkle @ Gayndah Art Gallery. Combining delicious local produce filled teats with the Biannual Art Competition for an evening of visual wonder and mouth-watering goodness. Dress to the nines for this year's sparkle theme and enjoy a glass on bubbly on arrival and meander between the stunning art displays and the scrumptious grazing table.

When: Friday 13 July, 7pm – late

2. Heartland Festival Market Day @ Gayndah State School Oval

Tickle your taste buds and clean out your wallet at the Heartland Festival Market Day @ Gayndah State School Oval. Come fill up your bags with locally made, produced and grown produce and sample the sweets and savouries over a hot coffee or sneaky wine tasting. Soak in our warm Winter sun as you peruse the stalls, enjoy the live entertainment and let your eyes be bigger than your belly for the day.

When: Saturday 14 July, 9am – 3pm
Where: Gayndah State School Oval, Queen Street Entrance

3. Eat Street @ The Old Tin Shed

Soak up the atmosphere at Eat Street @ The Old Tin Shed this Heartland Festival. Enjoy a relaxed evening of tantalising dishes from an array of food vans, live entertainment under the twinkling lights and picturesque citrus orchard views Gayndah is so well known for. Bring the kids, bring the neighbours and make an evening out of it.

When: Saturday 14 July, 5pm – 10:30pm

4. Fruit to Flowers Bus Tour

Meet with local farmers and producers on a delicious day out on the Fruit to Flowers Bus Tour. Start your day with a French inspired breakfast at the Gayndah Heritage Railway before venturing to Smart Berries to meet your first farmers. From there meander into the pecan trees at Boyne River Pecans and hear the stories behind this local business. Enjoy a leisurely brunch among the orchard here with grazing platters overflowing with scrumptious local produce, juices and baguettes. Make one final stop at the picturesque Kelly Fredline Florist and pick up a lovely fresh bunch of flowers or homemade candle to commemorate your day before returning to the Gayndah Heritage Railway.

5. Gayndah Heritage Railway Family Picnic

The family event not to be missed the Gayndah Heritage Railway Family Picnic is set to delight and inspire. Enjoy a picnic hamper filled with a mouth-watering spread of delicious local produce. Let the kids run wild while you soak up the sun and live music with a glass of wine or cold beer from the bar or take a leisurely peruse of the market stalls. Come enjoy a good old fashion day out with the family and celebrate the flavours of the North Burnett.

6. Sexy Fresh Food by Kelly Voss

Wrap up Heartland Festival under the stars with Kelly Voss and her team from Kel's Katering showcasing sexy, fresh food from the North Burnett Region. Mix and mingle under the Poinciana trees at twilight overlooking the Burnett River and tantalise your tastebuds with delectable canapes. Enjoy a drink from the Heartland Bar, listen to the sweet sounds of Trevor Dodds and meander through The Gayndah Art Gallery.

When: Sunday 15 July, 5pm – 10pm
