Burnett Riverside Hotel

7 Quay Street, Bundaberg Central, Queensland 4670

Set right on the Burnett River in the heart of Bundaberg, Burnett Riverside Hotel is where you’ll want to base yourself while you explore the city. Picturesque river views, king-sized beds, spacious, comfortable rooms and a riverside restaurant downstairs.

There’s a room for every kind of stay across nine room types. Riverview Queen and Riverview King rooms open onto a private balcony over the water, while the Deluxe King and Accessible King offer the same considered finish a step back from the river. For families and longer stays, the Family Studio sleeps four, the Loft Apartment spreads across two levels, and the Two Bedroom Apartment sleeps up to five. Rooms are large, bright and air-conditioned, with river views from most. Pillow-top mattresses feature in the Riverview and Deluxe King rooms; the apartments and studios add full kitchenettes.

Perched above the Burnett, H2O Restaurant & Bar is a relaxed, stylish spot for casual dinners, sunset drinks and easy celebrations. The kitchen is built around fresh, locally-sourced produce — a modern Australian menu, hand-crafted cocktails and a view of the river from every table. A dedicated function centre caters for conferences, weddings and dinner parties.
