Baldwin Swamp Environmental Park

Known as Bundaberg’s own “Kakadu”, Baldwin Swamp is home to many species of birdlife and wildlife. Wander the peaceful trails beneath fragrant eucalypt trees and enjoy the tranquillity of this beautiful wetland environment. The wetlands provide an important roosting, breeding and feeding habitat for thousands of waterbirds.

Baldwin Swamp is an ideal destination for walking or cycling, with pathways winding through forests and across waterways.

On the western side of the environmental park, you’ll find the Lake Ellen Heritage Hub. With plenty of shady picnic spots, Baldwin Swamp is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
