Cordalba is surrounded by the Cordalba State Forest, which is an adventurer’s playground, surrounded by rugged hills, open eucalypt woodland and plenty of natural beauty to explore. This peaceful pocket of Queensland is the perfect place to swap the hustle and bustle for fresh air, wide-open spaces and a bit of bush adventure.

By day, explore the bush trails on foot or by mountain bike, keep your eyes peeled for native birds, or simply enjoy the sounds and sights of the surrounding bushland. As the sun sets, grab a spotlight and head out for some night-time wildlife spotting, you might be lucky enough to catch possums, gliders and other local critters making an appearance.

Mountain bikers can hit the popular Promisedland Mountain Bike Trails, accessed via Claytons Road and Promisedland Road, with the trail network turn-off located approximately three kilometres along the road.

Established in 1896, Cordalba is a charming Queensland country town with a rich history and a big backyard just waiting to be explored.
