The Garden Mill in Bargara is a laid-back, family-run café set among open gardens and greenery. It’s built around fresh, local produce and simple, good food, with plenty of space to spread out, relax and take your time.
This isn’t your typical café setup. Tables spill out into the gardens, there’s room for kids to roam, and resident animals including miniature goats and guinea pigs. The casual atmosphere is designed for long catch-ups over coffee, brunch or an easy lunch, with a strong focus on local ingredients and a welcoming, down-to-earth feel.
The Garden Mill keeps things simple and genuine. It’s the kind of place you go when you want good food, fresh air and a slower pace, whether you’re meeting friends, bringing the family or just chasing a quiet moment outside.
Something for Everyone
Set in large gardens there is plenty of space for our younger guests to explore. We even have a playground and small animals to enjoy.
We also welcome your furry friends. Please keep them on leash so as not to scare our resident animals.
Sustainability
Speaking of our resident animals, what is their purpose? Although they may be super cute and fun to pat, they do have a purpose. We strongly believe in doing as much as possible for our planet and have always tried to come up with ways to keep our footprint as minimal as possible. Our animals are helping with this by keeping our food scraps to a minimum. They then in turn keep our compost bins happy with their waste, which we then use on our beautiful gardens. We hope in time to grow our own edibles from our very own gardens.
