ART GALLERIES 

No matter the time of year, there’s always something unique to uncover at the galleries throughout our region. Boasting a year-round program of jaw-dropping exhibitions featuring artists from all over Australia and workshops to inspire your creative side, stopping in at the Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery and Childers Art Space is an absolute must-do for all art enthusiasts. 


PUBLIC ART

Be sure to keep a look out for the bright artwork and statues that lace our streets and learn the stories behind these masterpieces. From the spectacularly painted pink and purple hue silos in Monto representing the story of the Three Moons, to the murals showcasing our region's taste-bud tantalizing food and drink scene and the friendly marine life who call our reef home, you won't have any trouble finding the perfect photo location for your next status update. 

LOCAL CRAFTS

We can assure you, you’ll be amazed at the hand-made pieces crafted by our inspiring local arts community. Remember your relaxing getaway to our region by picking up a pair of beautiful earrings created by Wattle Woman inspired by Australian culture, indigenous stories, native flowers and wildlife or some heavenly aromatic soap from Australian Gin Soap incorporating the botanicals from our famous Kalki Moon gin (or something else entirely!).

MAKE YOUR OWN

If discovering our local art scene has inspired you to create something entirely your own, why not grab your friends and join one of the workshops at Artisans 4670 led by local artists Beverley Whip, Kathy Valks and more. For lovers of of greenery, spend the morning getting back to nature by creating a Japanese Kokedama planter or discover the intricate world of botanical eco printing. Be sure to explore this local art space to pick up some locally crafted goodies too!
