Get ready, rock lovers! Lighthouse Rock is back on Saturday 18 October 2025, and this year is rolling in with a fresh wave of headline acts and local talent. Held at Burnett Heads, the gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef, this one-day festival brings Aussie and Kiwi rock legends to a stage surrounded by sea and salt air - because when it comes to live music, there’s no better stage than nature itself.
After two sold-out years, Lighthouse Rock is growing into Queensland’s go-to coastal rock festival. Whether you’re a music fan, road tripper, or reef explorer, this is your chance to combine live music with a laid-back weekender.
Gavin Hales from Lighthouse Presents said, “We are so excited to be bringing this amazing lineup of Aussie rock to the region again! This year will be even bigger and better than anything we have done before!”.
Make it more than just a gig. Located just four hours north of Brisbane, the Bundaberg Region invites visitors to turn Lighthouse Rock into a full weekend of adventure. Explore the Southern Great Barrier Reef, dive into local distilleries, meet the famous sea turtles, or simply kick back with sun, sand, and surf. Families are welcome too - for the first time ever, Lighthouse Rock is an all-ages event, with kids under 10 free and half-price tickets for ages 11–17.

Lighthouse Rock is proud to support local initiatives, including Great Barrier Reef Legacy’s Living Coral Biobank Project and the Sea Turtle Alliance, helping protect one of the world’s most precious natural wonders.
