Sporting Events

These events bring together athletes or teams to compete against each other in various sport disciplines, ranging from AFL games at Salters Oval, to Triathlons along the coastline.

MUST DO’S

Are you are event organiser looking to promote your event within the beautiful Bundaberg Region? We’ve got you covered with our list of the top five must do’s to maximise the effectiveness of your event promotions and its success.
Think of it like the Bundy Bucket List for Event Organisers!

Get Listed!

ATDW distributes your event listing to hundreds of websites, including Queensland.com Share your event on our regions Destination Events calendar What’s On Bundaberg

Give Us The Details!

Complete the Event Information Brief, so our team can assess the information that is provided and consider it for inclusion in Visit Bundaberg’s marketing channels. To enable us to communicate with our audiences in a meaningful and intentional way, be sure to provide high quality and engaging content!

Spread The Word!

Bundaberg Tourism have created a range of marketing collateral for event organisers to use across their event platforms for the positive promotion of the region. What better way to encourage people to buy tickets than showing them how they can make a holiday out of it? Swim with turtles on the Southern Great Barrier Reef, sip and swirl their way through the regions cellar doors and feast on delicious local produce from beachside cafes and farm gate stalls.

Curated Campaigns!

If you are seeking event support beyond the potential communication of the event through Visit Bundaberg’s channels, our events specialists are more than happy to curate bespoke marketing campaigns, with the aim to drive leads to the event, as well as encourage increased length of stay, visitor expenditure and dispersion of visitation across the region. Please reach out to Grace Boothman through the box below to discuss this further.

MARKETING COLLATERAL

Our marketing team work closely with event organisers to provide destination content, such as blogs, videos and images for event organisers to share across their websites and social media. As a region abundant with world-class experiences, stunning beaches and accessible reef, this content not only encourages event attendance but inspires the attendees to stay longer and experience more!

This marketing collateral has been created for you to share loud and proud, but please ensure to tag @visitbundaberg @bundabergtourism and use the destination hashtags to really get engaged #visitbundaberg #southerngreatbarrierreef
