BUNDABERG TOURISM WELCOMES NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO LEAD THE NEXT CHAPTER
Following a record year for the Bundaberg Region’s visitor economy, Bundaberg Tourism has announced its Board of Directors for 2025/26, bringing together a diverse mix of regional leaders to guide the organisation through its next phase of growth and destination development.
The new Board was elected at Thursday’s Annual General Meeting, marking the start of another exciting year for the not-for-profit Regional Tourism Organisation, which represents the Bundaberg and North Burnett local government areas.
Bundaberg Tourism Chair Daniel Reeves said the refreshed Board reflects a strong balance of continuity, expertise, and new perspectives.
“We’re entering a pivotal period for regional tourism, with Bundaberg well positioned to deliver on Queensland’s Destination 2045 vision through strategic growth and collaboration,” Mr Reeves said.
“Our new Board brings together strategic thinkers and passionate advocates for our region’s people, place, and produce - leaders who are committed to driving collaboration, strengthening industry capability, and ensuring Bundaberg Tourism continues to deliver meaningful results for our community.”

Bundaberg Tourism CEO Katherine Reid said strong governance and industry leadership remain critical to building on the region’s momentum.
“Our Board is the anchor of our organisation - providing strategic direction, accountability, and connection with every corner of the tourism community,” Ms Reid said.
“As we prepare to launch a refreshed regional brand, new accessible website, and further develop the region’s destination management strategies, this group will play a central role in shaping the next decade of growth.”
Mr Reeves said the Board’s collective vision is clear:
“We’ll continue to champion sustainable tourism growth, elevate industry excellence, and ensure Bundaberg Tourism remains a trusted and united voice for our region,” he said.
