Katherine is out at Barolin Nature Reserve this morning with Green fleet Australia for a tree planting. Part of the Low Glow partnership between Green fleet, Princes Trust Australia, Disney and BNBT, the planting has been made possible thanks to a contingent of helpers from Bundaberg Regional Council, stroud homes bundaberg, Fun Over Fifty and Kalkie State School.

Together, this team planted 415 native trees, to help revegetate the Barolin Nature Reserve. This reforestation project is part of the Low Glow project – a collaboration between Greenfleet, The Prince’s Trust Australia and The Walt Disney Company (Australia) that has seen over 80,000 native seedlings planted throughout the Reserve, that will create a ‘green curtain’ to shield the turtles at Mon Repos beach from artificial lighting!
