Bundaberg's Abundant Tourism Scene Hits National Television Screens

Beloved personalities from Bundaberg will grace the screens of homes across the nation this March, through Channel Nine's lifestyle program, My Way.

The TV show visited the region as part of Bundaberg Tourism’s 2024 culinary campaign and will share the stories of Tina and Bruce McPherson of Tinaberries, Rick and Kylie Prosser of Kalki Moon Distilling, Joey Caruana and Kirsty Rogers of The Garden Mill, and the Fleming family behind Bundaberg Brewed Drinks.

My Way captures the stories of Queensland, giving real people the chance to tell their own stories, share their passions and to say, “I’m doing this My Way’’.

After airing in Queensland on Sunday 24 March, the stories will be televised nationally the following week, giving Australia a glimpse into some of the delicious and authentic experiences on offer in the Bundaberg Region, and in turn staying front of mind when they are planning their next holiday.

Bundaberg Tourism with support from Bundaberg Brewed Drinks worked with the My Way team to return to the region in February to celebrate the destination’s identity as the nation’s tastiest food bowl and home to world-class drinks, quality produce and connections that go beyond what’s on your plate and in your glass.

Connie Rixon, Bundaberg Tourism’s Marketing Coordinator said “Bundaberg has always been celebrated for its genuine hospitality and the incredible individuals who call it home. Our tourism industry thrives thanks to the passionate and dedicated people who share their stories and in turn cultivate transformative experiences. My Way provides a captivating platform to showcase these narratives on a national stage. “

Cliff Fleming, Founder and Master Brewer of Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, expressed his pride, “We are so proud to call Bundaberg our home. Any chance that we can tell our story to help promote our wonderful region is a story well told.”

My Way has a weekly viewing audience of 595,300+ and a whole-of-season audience of 2.2 million viewers.

Catch the Bundaberg episode live on Channel 9 this Sunday, 24th March at 5:30pm (QLD time) and on the 9Now app and Channel 9 YouTube channel afterwards.
