Building on our many years of successful destination marketing throughout Queensland, most operators reported record occupancy since June 2020 to December 2021 as our state rediscovered our epic backyard.

  • Strong Bundaberg Presence at ATE 21


    Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) is the largest tourism trade event in Australia. This year the event includes an in-person event held at the International Convention Centre, Sydney from 6 – 9 June with up to 65, 13-minute appointments connecting buyers from Australia and New Zealand to Australia’s leading tourism products. A virtual event is also being held from 10 -17 June connecting the rest of the world buyers to Australian tourism product to exchange knowledge and make business connections.

    TradeBundaberg Tourism in partnership with the tourism industry have just completed a highly successful travel trade sales missionas the region’s tourism industry looks to 2021 with optimism and confidence. 

    The five-day sales mission, led by Bundaberg Tourism in partnership with Lady Musgrave Experience and Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort, and supported by Bundaberg Rum, Villa Mirasol Motor Inn and Kellys Beach Resort, saw over 120 key contacts across South East Queensland receive training and industry updates on the Bundaberg region across a series of meetings and networking functions.
