Experience Eidsvold’s proud grazing history and get a taste of outback life. As the proud beef capital of the North Burnett, the town tips its hat to cattle country every fortnight when the sales roll in and the main street fills with boots and broad brims.

The Reginald Murray Williams Bush Learning Centre is an unmissable icon of bush history, while the Eidsvold Historical Museum is bursting with stories of locals who’ve worked, wrangled and shaped this land for generations.

North of town, Wuruma Dam is perfect for fishing, watersports and camping. Along the banks of the Burnett River, the Tolderodden Environmental Park offers bush camping surrounded by wildlife and open skies while the Ceratodus Rest Area is an interesting historical stop.
