From the CEO

Our team are feverishly working in the background on all sorts of activity in marketing, business support and advocacy.  And are updating our website daily with resources and information links.  Some of these you may find helpful are:

  • COVID-19 resources updated are located here:
  • Maintaining your marketing presence during COVID-19, with this marketing toolkit
  • Destination blog content that you may like to share on your own digital channels
  • And if you’ve missed any of our update emails, they can all be found on our corporate blog.
  • Our Tourism Happy Hour’s on Friyay have been a bit of fun and so great to see everyone’s faces or hear your voice online.  With Good Friday gracing us this week (can you believe it?!), we’ll be having Thirsty Thursday at 4pm instead.  Here’s your link with further detail and to register for the Tourism Happy Hour

TEQ have also sent through this Easter messaging and I thought you may appreciate it, in case you’re having any uncertainty about Easter weekend booking enquiries, or being asked to make comment…

Easter - Queenslanders are encouraged to stay home this Easter long weekend. In other countries and regions,

holidays have led to a spike in the number of cases. We must not undo what we have achieved so far through

social distancing and by eliminating non-essential travel. Now is not the time for road trips, recreation and

holidays. People must stay at home unless there is an essential need for them to go out.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly, or any of our team, if you need assistance with anything at all!

We’re here to help.

Stay safe and keep connecting,
