 Which would you choose, trick or treat? Don't miss these 5 experiences to help spread goosebumps while in town this Halloween.  

Jo Jo's Midnight Ghost Tours

Spend an evening wandering throughout some of the most remote and spine-tingling places of the Bundaberg region with a Midnight Ghost Tour. From visiting an Apothecary Shop with potions and tales of terror that date back to the 1890's, to uncovering the stories of past residents at one of Australia's most haunted Pubs, this tour will have you pondering myth or legend. With pick-up, drop-off and dinner all included, strap yourselves in for a night unlike any other.

When: Saturday 30th October, 2021
Time: Arrive at Pick-Up Location at 5:45 PM (AEST) for a 6:00 PM departure. Tour will go for approximately 5hrs arriving back by Midnight.
Where: Pick-Up and Drop-Off Location, Quay Street Carpark, Bundaberg (down from River Cruz Cafe)

Sweet treats at Cha Cha Chocolate

For those that chose treat, we've got you covered with Cha Cha Chocolate, an absolute must! Although they offer a range of novelty chocolates and lollies all year round, this Halloween the team are going all-out with toffee coated apples, hocus-pocus lolly packs, and spooky hand-made chocolate delights that will have you both intrigued and a bit skeptical, but that will nevertheless leave your taste buds tingling.

 

Splitters Farm 

For those seeking a relaxing Halloween getaway with a touch of suspense for the littlies, spend your long-weekend with an overnight stay at Splitters Farm. Enjoy spending time catching up with the family among the lush surrounds of their working and rescue farm while their local animal residents meander the grounds in either one of their Deluxe Glamping Safari Tents or powered and un-powered camp sites. To help celebrate Halloween, let the kids immerse themselves in a game of Trick or Treat, Cinema Under the Stars and if you arrive on Friday 29 October, begin your experience with a pairing of pizza and Halloween Trivia.   

 

Tuck yourself in for movie night at the Moncrieff

Grab yourself some popcorn for a captive night spent watching 1981 horror-comedy film and cult classic, An American Werewolf in London at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, if you've never seen this film before prepare yourself for a night of loud laughs one minute and chilling screams the next.

 

Jack O'Lantern

Become one of the locals for a night and participate in our annual Jack O'Lantern Competition! With prizes up for grabs, simply register your entry and get carving. All part of Shalom College Rowing Halloween Gala to help raise funds for the Shalom College rowing team, purchase your ticket to the gala and drop-off your unique hand-carved Halloween pumpkin at Shalom College or the Bundaberg Civic Centre. May the best Jack O'Lantern win! 

When: All entrants must deliver their creative on Friday 29th or Saturday 30th October, 2021
Where: Drop off to be made at Shalom College or the Bundaberg Civic Centre
Cost: $5 entry free + Gala Ball ticket fee ($80-$95). Entry fee to be provided to Shalom College as part of the Shalom Rowing Halloween Gala Fundraising Event. Both voting and winners will be announced at the Halloween Gala Ball.
